The Law of Attraction Can Be a Magical Thing
For some reason, people tend to look at the law of attraction with a skeptical eye. They are never really convinced by its usefulness and its essence. At some point, they will tell you that it is close to a pseudoscience, being a highly bogus take on psychology.
“It is an illegitimate theory,” as they say. But as much as we want to point it out, yes, we can say that the law of attraction has no scientific basis whatsoever. And it is because of this that some people will never apply it in real life, even if they just try.
For those who did and succeeded in life, they are highly convinced of its meaning as well as its value. And for those who did and never really achieved anything, they will dismiss it as another “new world” fad that doesn’t actually mean anything other than pure nonsense.
The Law of Attraction and its Deeper Meaning
What they don’t understand is that the law of attraction does not work that way. It’s not a science and that is true, but it has even deeper implications to humans as a whole.
Its basis lies on an individual’s willingness to achieve anything. As what we have discussed earlier, people are goal-oriented. Whether short-term or long-term, these goals are always made with a purpose in mind, none of which is negative to the people who create them.
We always expect something good from achieving these goals and it is up to us whether we would try to realize them or not. We should all work towards making them a reality, and that explains why the law of attraction maintains a huge following.
How to Manifest the Law of Attraction
Going back on the part where the law of attraction is dismissed as pseudoscience, it is dismissed on several misleading points. The idea that it guarantees immediate benefits to person only gives a narrow understanding of its true value.
The law of attraction is actually a way for people to develop themselves into better individuals by having them fixated on a certain goal and doing what is necessary to achieve it. Nothing more, nothing less.
The law of attraction is not a magic trick that happens instantly, it is lifestyles anchored on self-discipline and the acknowledgment of every individual’s ability to act on his or her own goals.
For those who have tried the law of attraction but are still not convinced, they need to realize a few important points before making such a generalization.
First of all, the results of the law of attraction depend entirely on a person’s willingness to make a change. Whatever goal it may be, we need to always set our eyes on our individual goals and not lose sight of them… ever.
Not being able to experience the immediate effects of the law of attraction only means a lack of trust and faith in one’s self. Always remember that the law of attraction is an individualist approach to becoming successful, and it will never work out well if you as an individual decide not to take it as a serious venture of sorts.
In any case, one has to do a lot more in terms of self-control and self-discipline. These are two very important elements to consider when trying to make something out of the law of attraction.
The Law of Attraction and Focus
Another reason why the law of attraction does not work for people is that they seem to force the law of attraction to do the work for them. This is not what the law is all about. Far from it.
It is about maintaining one’s composure and being able to control one’s urges. And apparently, this is a very slow process that requires a large amount of focus on top of positive energy.
The law of attraction is also affected by how you see yourself. If you see yourself as pitiful, then you will never expect the law of attraction to work for you. It emphasizes identity and being able to accept yourself for who you are.
You will never truly enjoy a fulfilling life if you anchor your thoughts on the things that will only make you feel miserable about yourself. The law of attraction does not emphasize that.
Instead of using it because there’s no other way for you to develop yourself, you need to see it as an important part of growing up, of developing yourself towards becoming a better and more mature person.
Lastly, the law of attraction does not work if you seem too serious about it. Loosen yourself up a bit! Do not force the universe to work the way you do. Instead, feel good about it will work WITH you towards reaching your own goals.
You may as well feel better after that.
